Summer is flying by! It’s been great to have some weekends at home to enjoy our backyard with friends and neighbors.
We’ve been using our patio a lot for barbecues and nights by the fire. It’s fun to have an outdoor space that feels like another room of our house.

And when you’re trying to enjoy this wonderful summer weather with friends, the last thing you want to be doing is checking your phone to see what time it is and then get sucked into Facebook, email, Instagram, whatever. I’ve really been trying to put my phone down and enjoy summer as much as possible.
Don’t get me wrong, I love social media, but leaving our phones inside while we just enjoy grilling or hanging on the patio is so much more relaxing.
Instead of checking my phone to see what time it is, a pretty watch does the trick!
I recently got a JORD Green Sandalwood and Maple watch. Of course I liked the one that has ‘green’ in the name! Ha. I promise that’s not why I picked it! 🙂
The watches are neutral enough to match whatever you’re wearing this summer from neutrals to colorful summer outfits.
I love fun jewelry, watches and pashminas. They’re such an easy way to dress up an outfit. So needless to say, I’ve been enjoying wearing this cool watch all summer.
I chose the Green Sandalwood and Maple watch because it flows seamlessly with my other fun accent jewelry.
I love the watch with all sorts of different outfits, too. It just fits right in!
The JORD watch is really lightweight, which I love.
So leave your phone inside for the rest of the summer (at least sometimes!) so you can, you know, enjoy summer to the fullest before it gets cold out, and enter to win an e-voucher to use towards a JORD watch of your own!
