I’m excited to share our renovated bathroom today!
If you’ve seen our kitchen reveal, you’ll probably notice I love white and green!
This trend continues in the bathroom:
Here’s the before:
The original bathroom layout didn’t have much counter space. We had dealt with this in our Cincinnati bathroom, and I didn’t want to have that same problem again.
Moving existing plumbing was out of our price range, so we got creative in thinking about how to add more counter space. We decided to add a second vanity.

These baskets are perfect for holding (and hiding) extra towels and toiletries.
We bought a basket for tissues, too – it’s the perfect size!
Target was also the perfect place to look for bathroom mirrors! I love the beading along the edge.
I LOVE having two vanities. It’s wonderful to have the extra counter space.
The vanities actually came with bronze hardware, which we switched out with these handles and these knobs.
Definitely something to keep in mind if you fall in love with a vanity but don’t like the hardware it comes with – it’s easy to switch it out for a look you love!
The new hardware matches the towel bars, towel hooks and shower bar (all from Lowe’s) to create a cohesive look. I love the clean look of these pieces!
Our counters are white quartz – same as the kitchen – and they’re great. They’re so bright and easy to keep clean.
I love the white subway tile in the tub. And the green tile border adds just enough subtle color without going overboard.
The shower curtain is from TJ Maxx. I love the soft green and blue pattern here.
The shower curtain ties in nicely with the wall color (Ryegrass green from Sherwin Williams).
We love how this room turned out! It’s so bright and welcoming. It’s nice getting ready in here every morning!
You can read all about our kitchen renovation adventures and tips for picking everything out in my bathroom renovation archives.

Emily, Our house now a home says
This is beautiful! I love the idea of putting in open shelving on the side of the shower. It is still functional and improves the look so much. That wall color is gorgeous! I don’t decorate a lot with green, but adore the color in a home. Just never found a way to put it in my home. That before picture is crazy compared to what it looks like now. We redid out bathroom, all but the floors and shower. It was more a cosmetic thing, so much work But so worth it.

Thanks, Emily!! I love the wall color! I’m usually all about neutral wall colors but love that we went for color in this room. And the baskets for storage are perfect, I’m so glad we decided to do it!

Stunning stunning stunning!!!!!
We have a empty vanity and a sink vanity (not as nice as yours!!) in our bath as well and it is soooo handy!!
I love the storage it provides and I can use it to sprawl out my makeup or stand there and dry my hair.
Love love love your makeovers 🙂
GreenWithDecor says
Thank you, Holly!! Isn’t the second vanity so nice!? So much counter space!!
Samantha says
I don’t normally love green, but I am loving this shade! It’s so beautiful. And really, the entire bathroom is just gorgeous. I’m with everyone else who loves the open shelves. It just really opens up the room. Can’t believe that those comparison pictures are even the same room!
GreenWithDecor says
Thanks, Samantha! The open shelving is really nice!!
Carrie says
Love the green colour, it is so refreshing and yes a definite improvement on the original. The idea of having one vanity without a sink is a great idea, I think I have to keep that in mind for my next project.
GreenWithDecor says
Thanks, Carrie! I love having a vanity with extra counter space!
