It’s no surprise, but room makeovers make me oh so happy. We finished the half bathroom last week, and I looooove it.
You can see the bathroom makeover here if you missed it. My absolute favorite part is definitely the DIY towel rack from an old wooden spool, which you can see here.
There’s just one thing that makes me think the room isn’t really quite complete yet though … those sconce lights. They’re fine, and the silver and white goes with the decor in here. But… they’re just not ‘us’. We’ve been looking around at other affordable light options that would be easy to swap out and then take with us when we leave.
Even if we don’t use them in our ‘real house‘ in the future, we could sell them in a Facebook group or something.
Here are our top picks for affordable beachy/farmhouse sconces in case you guys are looking around for pretty new light fixtures, too. Each light is under $100 – perfect for giving a room an updated look without breaking the bank. Just click any of the images for more info.

Which farmhouse sconces are your favorites? I’m totally having a light fixture thing lately. I want them ALL. Decisions, decisions …
I also shared 15 farmhouse vanity lights under $100 earlier this year when we were working on my parents’ bathroom if you’re more of a vanity-light type of person. 🙂
