The upstairs bathroom and powder room were just about done! We were very excited.
Next renovation task for the bathrooms was finding mirrors for above the vanities. Mirrors can be expensive!
One of my favorite places to shop for stylish, inexpensive mirrors is Kirkland’s. Do you have a go-to store for mirrors?
Sure enough, I found an oval-shaped silver mirror with a pretty, subtle beading pattern around the edge at Kirkland’s. It was perfect for the powder room!
We also went to Target in search of mirrors. I loved the silver rectangle mirror pictured below – and it was the perfect size for above each of the vanities in our upstairs bathroom.
Our revamped bathroom layout allowed for vanities on two of the bathroom walls, so placing mirrors above each – on adjacent walls – would help make the room feel bigger (one of the oldest interior design tricks in the book!).
Best of all, one of the mirrors would be across from the bathroom window, so it would help reflect light into the room.
The room was coming together!
