I never really thought I’d say this, but we’re painting over green walls with a new blue paint color. I know, shocking right?
Well technically, the painting is going on at my parents’ house. I’m not painting over any green walls at our house. I’m not sure that will ever happen.
I picked a shade of green (lime green?) for the kids’ bathroom at my parents’ house when I was about 12, and it’s about time it gets painted over.
If you missed the earlier blog posts on my parents’ bathroom renovation, you can catch up on the bathroom renovation design plans here or the search for farmhouse vanity lights here (hint: alllll of the awesome beautiful light fixtures are under $100).
My mom and I have been sampling all sorts of paint colors. Why do the colors always look so different on the walls than they do on those little paint chips?! Paint samples really are a must. As you can see, we’re big believers in samples.
Instead of sharing a bunch of pictures of paint samples on top of lime green walls with you all today, I thought it’d be more fun (and prettier) to share beautiful blue bathrooms that are already painted and finished in case you’re also on the hunt for the perfect blue paint color.
So I rounded up a handful of blue bathrooms from talented bloggers below. Because seeing finished rooms makes it waaaay easier to see what paint colors actually look like. Or is that just me?
My mom is going for a coastal vibe with this bathroom renovation, and all of the blue bathrooms below have that beachy look she’s going for. And honestly, it’s making me want to paint a bathroom blue in our next house.
